Student Branding Blog: Open Followership
In my post on Open Followership at The Student Branding Blog, I once again recommend Charlene Li’s new book Open Leadership and suggest that learning to become an open leader starts with learning how to be an open follower. Check it out!
On another note, I’ve really slacked on my blogging frequency lately. It’s final exam time here, and in addition to that frenzy I’m squeezing in some outside training as well. It’s also been really windy here in Reno the last few weeks, and that makes recording video outside impossible. Ok, so those are my weak excuses. The break has been welcome as well as necessary, but I plan to get back to regular posting soon. Just FYI.

Welcome to my blog! Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section of my posts. I publish all constructive, non-anonymous comments.
Glad to hear you’ll be back to blogging like your old self. I look forward to your posts.

I don’t think you’re alone in the frenzy, but you have a good excuse. This time of year seems to be a mix of expectations of better (and warmer) days, but constant distractions that keep anything from getting on track. I feel like I’ve been spinning my wheels on multiple fronts and not making positive progress.
We’re going to Pacifica for the weekend. I’m hoping that lifts the dreary mood I’ve been in the past few days. I’m going to start trying video with my blog. Maybe I’ll try a few segments oceanside.
Thanks for modeling the New World of Social Media. I can’t thank you enough for the inspirations you have created.

good for you for venturing into video, Paul! If you are like me, you won’t like it at first, but stick with it. It has its own learning curve which you will quickly master. Thanks! Bret

Bret,
Definitely all legit reasons for taking it easy on the blogging. Also, with the class you started on Personal Branding, I’m sure that only adds to your neverending list of things to do. I’m curious, how’s the class going?
