Our friend Dan McCarthy who runs the outstanding blog Great Leadership has served us all once again by publishing his January 3 Leadership Development Carnival: Best of 2009 Edition. This edition includes 50 outstanding posts from some of the best leadership bloggers. Each author selected their favorite post from 2009, so there is some really good stuff here!
Last semester I required my MBA class to follow blogs by Wally Bock, Art Petty, Dan McCarthy, Steve Roesler, and Mary Jo Asmus, so when I look through the comments of their articles at this edition of the carnival I can find many comments from my students. Cool!
My own article entitled Engagement Soup is included in the carnival. In that article I explained why I have serious issues with the concept of engagement as it is peddled by consulting firms big and small. I got some excellent comments on that article, so make sure to take the time to look at those if you read the article.
Thanks, Dan, for once again putting together a great leadership carnival!
